Meditation retreats for women who do too much
What does this mean? And what is meditation? Well it’s quite simple. Meditation helps to still the mind, bringing it into conscious focus; we get so caught up in our everyday business that we forget to be in the presence of life.
Our living circumstances and family commitments can take up our time, work pressures and other distractions keeps us in a loop of “I don’t have the time to sit and meditate/be still.”
There are major health benefits to be had from taking 10-20 min to sitting still taking a breath. Get to know you, without the distractions.
Stress and tiredness can make us unhappy, even frustrated and inpatient, meditation actually gives us more time to clear the cobwebs of the mind, bringing in calmness stillness and clarity, think of a warm sunny day little breeze blue sky does that make you feel good inside?
By giving yourself the gift of time you will start to understand your mind, and the importance of giving it the opportunity to defrag, you will learn how quickly you can change a negative thought to a positive conclusion.
Thoughts will always come and go, like a conveyor belt the learning is not to engage with these thoughts, not when it’s your time to be in contemplating thoughts, eventually these busy engaging distractions will pass like floating clouds in the sky on a warm sunny day.
This has developed over time from our very popular three day weekend retreats, where it was noted how many of our female clients opened up and were able to express and release so many untapped emotional issues.
Beechcroft Retreats are set in very quiet, beautiful surroundings and have the perfect setting for hosting these special two day programmes. Join us for a two day weekend of meditation, which will include yoga, far infrared sauna and a gentle Aromatouch with dōTERRA essential oils.
You will leave rejuvenated/ grounded with much more clarity, and feeling more in touch with yourself and your feelings.
Accommodation including all meals in a shared room is £395
Single rooms are available upon request at a supplement of £50.
“Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. It’s a way of entering into the quiet that’s already there – buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day.”
– Deepak Chopra
What is the AromaTouch™ Technique?
dōTERRA’s AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body. Developed by Dr. David Hill, a leading expert in integrative medicine and therapeutic applications of essential oils, the AromaTouch Technique improves wellbeing by reducing physical and emotional stressors and by supporting healthy autonomic function. The technique is simple and intuitive and uses dōTERRA’s CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils for an unparalleled grounding experience for recipients.
The AromaTouch Technique includes four primary steps designed to minimise systemic stressors to autonomic balance. Each step includes the application of two essential oils or essential oil blends specifically formulated to support healthy emotional and physiological functions for wellbeing. The technique requires 30 minutes per application and multiple applications can be serviced with one set of dōTERRA’s essential oils.
